We arrived at the gate at 9:02 pm after letting the manager know we were delayed. Only then did I see a message from him, sent at 9:01 pm, saying he couldn't welcome us. Entry was apparently possible until 9 pm. I hadn't been clearly told that beforehand, though I accept that's on me or Booking. I understand there has to be a cutoff and that we could be turned away after it. Being refused over a couple of minutes wasn't great service, especially with a key box at the entrance, but those were the rules. What happened afterward is why I'm leaving this review. The owner stopped answering calls and messages and blocked my work phone. He wouldn't offer even a partial refund, though we'd paid the full reservation in advance. I called from another number to try to sort it out. The person was unpleasant at first, then openly rude and aggressive. I was shouted at and the call was hung up on me. I don't usually post negative reviews, but other travelers should know.

We spent a lovely weekend in the Oise region in this roomy loft, which even had a whirlpool bath. The bed was impeccable, and breakfast was generous and brought to our room. It was a comfortable place in a good location, with a really warm welcome. I'd recommend it for a stay in Senlis.
