The place had charm and was well equipped, and its location was good. But I was really disappointed for my first gîte stay because it was so dirty. The fridge and microwave were grimy, the shower was disgusting, and the toilets were nearly as bad. The duvets had stains, and the walls and doors were covered in dark handprints and other marks.
The staircase creaks, and you can hear the neighbors' alarm clock, so the soundproofing could be better. Still, the setting was pleasant, the bed was comfortable, and nothing was missing.
The bathroom and bedroom stood out, especially the exposed stone walls, and the apartment had plenty of character. It was well equipped too, with charming little shops nearby. Etretat, Fécamp, and Honfleur are all easy to explore from this ideally located spot. A place I’ll remember!
Bright and beautifully renovated, this former industrial building has lovely exposed natural stone walls. I had a very pleasant stay and highly recommend it.
Really nice, quiet place with very well done decor. There’s also a delicious fast food restaurant right downstairs. I’m taking off a star because there was a lot of dust on the floor when I arrived, and the bed linen was stained. That really needs to be addressed.
