I ended up boarding a Sunday evening flight to Paris with nowhere to sleep, which was incredibly stressful. The hotel cancelled my booking while I was on the way to the airport, claiming my bank cards didn’t work. I’d used them several times that same day, before and after the cancellation, and even gave the hotel another card. They said that one failed too. I’m sure that wasn’t true, and they simply cancelled the reservation without caring. I’d booked nearly three months ahead for an exhibition. When I called, the manager couldn’t speak English and told me nobody at the company could either. I suspect they resold my booking for three times the price. Judging by other reviews, maybe I was lucky to miss a hotel that’s apparently often dirty and has poor service. I’ll never book with this chain again, in any country. Wouldn’t recommend it.

They asked for a €400 deposit, even though there isn’t that much stuff in the room. It was dirty and wasn’t cleaned, so they gave me a vacuum cleaner to deal with it myself. The vacuum was always full of dirt, and the curtains were moldy.

Unless you’re on a really tight budget, stay away. It’s very noisy, and people smoke weed there. The humidity extractor is so loud it makes even a halfway decent night’s sleep impossible. Absolute worst place.

I booked through Agoda, but when I got there nobody was at reception. I waited and rang the bell for almost an hour with no answer, so I eventually left and found somewhere else. Worst experience ever.

The rooms were awful, though the staff were great.
