We were warmly welcomed at Villa Marengo. Our lovely, tastefully decorated room looked out over the garden and had its own bathroom and toilet. The house is on a very quiet street, and we had a wonderful stay.

The host showed no respect for the place. It was extremely noisy, and I had to step in several times because the parents were talking very loudly. With walls this thin, I could hear all their conversations. The children and other visitors played piano or loud techno music late at night. The room and bathroom were filthy. There was a bathtub, but we weren’t allowed to use it. The PVC floor and tiles were moldy, and the bathroom smelled like a sewer. Avoid this place at all costs!
