Our room looked out onto the garden, and we barely heard anything from neighboring rooms, which was a nice change from many hotels. It was large and exceptionally clean, and the scenery around this small country hotel was beautiful. The staff made us feel welcome, too. The location is very close to Rocamadur, and we were pleasantly surprised by the place. We missed breakfast, though I'm sure it was good.

We waited 30-40 minutes and still had only been given water. A table seated after us had already received its main courses, so we decided to leave. The manager scolded us, saying people on vacation normally get served after the work crowd. The other main hotel restaurant was closed that day, so perhaps they were short staffed and overwhelmed. Even so, we were seated with mismatched settings and dirty linens. I definitely don't recommend it.

The owners and staff were very professional, and the food was great. The rooms in the annex are a bit small and could use air conditioning or a fan. To be fair, I was there during an unusually hot August in 2017, when temperatures reached 38 degrees Celsius.

The room was spotless and had coffee and tea ready. Service at the restaurant was efficient, and they served generous portions. For the price and quality, this hotel is amazing. I'll definitely come back!

We spent three nights at the Hostellerie du Causse. The restaurant serves lovely local dishes, beautifully presented, and there's a nice pool on the grounds. Our room was exceptionally comfortable and well equipped, and the staff were friendly and informative. There’s plenty to see nearby, including Rocamadour, caves, and the lovely town of Cahors. I recommend it. David Halliday
