I’ve stayed here several times over the past 10 years. The location is handy for the tram, though I don’t feel safe nearby after dark. The apartments still look nice, but the furniture hasn’t changed in all that time, and the service seems to get worse year by year. The bed was soft and uneven, and I had trouble sleeping every night. I woke up with backache the next day. The lights were poor too, with only one small light in the living room. The toilet and bathroom are far apart from each other and at the other end of the apartment. Cleaning is now only once a week. I was given just one towel and one hand towel, and when I asked for more and some moisturizer, which wasn’t in the room, I was told they’re not a five-star hotel. Maybe that was meant lightly, but they should offer more cleaning options. Breakfast looks like it has a lot, but the choices are basic: bread, fruit, coffee, boiled eggs, sausages, and yogurt. The dried fruit was stale, and there are no live cooking counters. The yogurt was the only thing I liked, though it’s a European specialty anyway.

I stayed here with my parents for about 8-10 days when we visited Grenoble in 2024. The hotel still had the good atmosphere I expected, and the employees and service were really good. The location was useful too. The rooms, though, feel like old stuff from 2014-15. Some updates to the furniture and technology could make this a five out of five.

I would have rated the facilities higher, but I didn’t want to change the whole feedback score. The hotel says on the booking site and its own website that it has heating, but there wasn’t any. I arrived in Grenoble during snowy weather and couldn’t heat these large rooms. Reception mentioned ecological regulations, so I carried a small heater to my room myself. It didn’t work, and when I tried calling, nobody answered. A really bad experience. Only come in summer.

The service and food were pretty great, and the hotel is right in the city center. Some rooms have mattresses that are a bit worn. The one downside is the neighboring residential building, where people sometimes have loud parties.

The apartment was very clean and had a fully equipped kitchen. It’s a great fit if you’re staying for a week or longer and want to cook for yourself.
