The photos make this place look appealing, but arriving was a huge letdown. The facade isn't inviting, and the apartment seemed furnished with things salvaged from dumps. It smelled damp and wasn't clean. I wouldn't even look around the fridge. The supposed homemade breakfast was a sugar waffle in a plastic bag, thanks, Lidl, and a single-serve cereal box like you'd get at any supermarket. A thoroughly disappointing stay.

The place looks good in the photos, but that's where the appeal ends. I couldn't stay the night because it was extremely damp, and the basement room left me seriously questioning whether the facilities meet regulations. It was filthy. When I raised the cleanliness issue, the owner was incredibly dishonest and replied, “You should have rented a room in a luxury hotel.” At €200 a night, I think basic cleanliness is a fair expectation. I got no enjoyment out of it at all. Strongly advise against staying here. See visitor photos.

€210 for a Saturday holiday and a thoroughly disappointing experience. Everything feels neglected: the floorboards are broken, the tap doesn't work, and the jacuzzi doesn't function. Nothing stays in place. The bedding is poor, the wooden board is torn up, and the candle is useless. Stay at your own risk.

The idea is lovely and romantic, but the place needs more finishing and maintenance. I also wasn't confident about the way payment was handled.

It's a nice, welcoming place. Shame there's no one there to greet you in person and explain how the jacuzzi and sauna work, instead of doing it over the phone.
