Having tea in the sunroom was lovely, though the decor felt a bit cluttered, almost like a Vietnamese restaurant. Simpler styling would have suited the room better. The castle interior itself is beautiful and full of character, but the outside and garden could use more care, which is understandable given the cost of upkeep. Our room cost less than €150, so it was small, though a bigger room is available for a higher price. If you're checking in late at night, you'll need a code to get in and find your room in the dark, turning lights on as you go. It can be confusing, so arriving earlier might help. We were very satisfied overall, found it good value, and would happily stay again.

Even during a heat wave, the inside stayed cool, and our smaller room came with a wonderful balcony. The old chateau has loads of history and charm. A romantic, quiet hotel that feels like an art gallery.

The breakfast was extremely limited and very poor quality, with no vegetables at all. If vegetables are part of your diet or you're vegetarian, I wouldn't recommend staying here. The staff weren't hospitable either, and the place felt unwelcoming. Based on the photos and description, I expected something quite different. The hotel didn't live up to its pictures, and the stay was disappointing.

The place has a magical atmosphere, with its art, music and old-fashioned decor. Looking at the candle-like chandeliers from outside felt like stepping back in time. The rooms were comfortable, with big fluffy white towels, roomy bathtubs and beautiful classic antique furnishings. Breakfast was amazing, and the owners are lovely. Don't miss the experience.

We spent three nights here, and it was disappointing from the start. We didn't get a warm welcome, and the breakfast was very poor. The lack of hospitality and attention to basic standards made the stay far from enjoyable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
