We were upgraded when a technical issue affected the room we’d reserved, and Pearl was a great help getting us to our room. The chateau is in a quiet, peaceful location, and the rooms, service, and dining were all top-notch. We had an excellent three-course dinner in the small, cosy dining room, and breakfast was just as good. They even had almond milk available as a lactose-free substitute.

It’s a charming, beautiful chateau, and this was my second stop here on the way back from Italy to Belgium with my cat. I come here to recharge before getting back to work. This time, I had a small issue, but the director sorted it out promptly, which showed me how much the staff care about their guests. Thanks to everyone at O Chateau. I’ll see you next time. I highly recommend it for a romantic stay. Great value for the quality, and I had a lovely trip.

The buffet breakfast was fabulous, with a good range of local products. It’s a proper boutique hotel, tastefully furnished, and the staff are gracious.

The room is small, but fine for one night, and it’s close enough to walk into the city centre for a meal. It was clean and attractive, with a very good bed and a nicely done bathroom. My main complaint is the 5 pm check-in. Arriving earlier costs an extra 10 euros per hour, even though most hotels allow check-in at 3 pm. The air conditioner is noisy, and with the window open, you can hear traffic from the street.
