Le Parc Du Chateau

We had a lovely long weekend, staying three nights at the Chateau in Hermonville. The room was modern, beautiful, clean, and had a sitting area. The house is stunning, and its photos really don't do it justice. The grand spaces open out to a huge, beautiful garden, with a spot for BBQs and picnics at the far end and a terrace by the house where you can enjoy champagne sold by the bottle at a very reasonable price. There's also a cosy lounge inside. Emmanuelle was friendly and accommodating. She made us feel welcome at the Jazz night in the building beside the main house. Breakfast was really good, and Emmanuelle cooked eggs for us herself. It was a great base for exploring champagne houses and vineyards. Reims is no more than a 20 minute drive, and Epernay is also nearby. In town, there's a lovely restaurant and, about ten minutes away, a bakery and small supermarket. We also found nice walking and cycling routes close by. My wife and I absolutely recommend the place and will certainly visit again.

The château and its park-like garden are beautiful, and our room in the upper part of the smaller building was spacious, clean, and had enough amenities. The host gave us a warm welcome. There are drinks for sale at good prices, including beer, wine, and champagne. Breakfast was simple but good, with local products and fruit from the garden. The village is quiet and small, with a wine bar within walking distance and a little supermarket. You'll need a car to get around: most restaurants and the larger champagne houses are in Reims, about a 20 minute drive away. The host can suggest smaller wineries nearby, but call ahead to check if they're open. The only drawback was the WiFi, which didn't work very well and had limited reach. It's a gem for a Champagne region visit.

We celebrated our anniversary here and had a wonderful stay at Le Chateau D’Harmonville. Emmanuelle was accommodating and looked after all our needs. The Annex King Room was spacious and modern, and breakfast was delightful. The pool and surrounding grounds were beautiful. Parfait!

We had a great time unwinding at the chateau and walking through the vineyards. The rooms were quiet and very clean, and seeing the goats was an added treat. Emmanuelle and her family are so kind, and she went out of her way to make things work for us. Merci Emmanuelle!
