I booked by mistake because I hadn’t read Booking’s terms carefully, including the extra service charges and no-cancellation rule. A few minutes later, once I realized, I immediately asked to cancel without paying. If the host had agreed, I would have been able to do that, since the work for everyone involved had come to nothing. Instead, the owner of Chez Lisette refused and kept my €58, despite doing no more than sending three messages. I made the mistake, but as a business owner I would have tried to meet the customer’s needs and refund money they weren’t entitled to. What a shame, it doesn’t do the industry any credit.

It was great to be near both the town center and the beach while still having a peaceful, pleasant place to relax. The apartment was fantastic and very comfortable, with perfect amenities. We were welcomed warmly. I highly recommend it.

A very welcoming owner and a pleasant, quiet, clean cottage with everything we needed inside. It’s close to the town center, port and restaurants, with several handy parking areas nearby.

We had a wonderful weekend here, and will definitely come back on our next weekends in Honfleur. The apartment was spotless, very clean and well equipped for four people, with Wi-Fi included in the rental. It’s in a very quiet spot and very well located, and we received an excellent welcome. Thank you so much!
