Les Terrasses Levantines

The air was barely breathable because of the constant damp smell. The apartment was run down and furnished haphazardly, and its cleanliness was questionable at best. The website information was misleading: there was no sea view from the terrace, and the terrace itself wasn't even installed. If you have a problem, don't expect the owner to communicate. They respond to negative reviews, but not to messages. There are far better places to stay on the island for less money.

The location and air conditioning were the positives. Otherwise, the basic studio had no view and was on a busy road. Light came through the transparent roof every morning and woke us, even with the ineffective curtains. The bathroom was very humid and smelled of sewers, while the ventilation ran constantly and noisily. The price is exorbitant for this level of service. We don't plan to return to Les Terrasses Levantines.

The terrace is lovely, but the studios are packed together like sardines, and the tiny screen does little to protect your privacy. Smoke from the neighbors' cigarettes drifted right into our faces. Poor value for money. The room and bathroom were adequate, though we barely used the dining area. Check-in was by text message with a key box, which says it all. This was our first time renting a furnished apartment, because hotel prices in the area are so high. The island is admittedly magical, but since COVID it feels like standards have slipped while prices have risen.

The village center is beautiful and the island is magical, but I strongly advise against staying in this house divided into studios. It's damp everywhere, even under the bed, and the French doors don't close properly. As soon as you walk in, the damp hits you like a suffocating chill. The studio is poorly insulated, and major renovations are needed.
