Hôtel Paris d'Issy Hôtel porte de Versailles

We had everything we needed here, including a private bathroom and toilet, a really comfy bed, and breakfast served until 10:30. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There's a takeaway almost next door for when food options are limited, plus supermarkets and grocers nearby. The hotel sits in a lovely little area just outside the busy center of Paris. The nearest Metro is about a minute's walk away, and other amenities are only a couple of minutes on foot. Can't fault it, highly recommend.

This was my second time booking here. The place is clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly, and they helped carry my luggage. My room was cleaned every day, and I felt my belongings were safe. I'd seen news about luggage theft at some hotels, but none of my things went missing here. It's less than a five-minute walk to the station. When Abu Dhabi International Airport temporarily closed because of the issue in the Middle East and my flight was cancelled, the hotel kindly helped me reschedule my booking. I'm very grateful for their understanding and help. I highly recommend it.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel after such an upsetting, badly handled experience. When we checked out, we were accused of leaving the room in poor condition. We have photos and videos showing what we found after housekeeping had entered: rubbish on the toilet floor, a dirty duvet cover on the bed with clean towels on top, and items moved around. The manager showed us a video that didn't match the room's condition when we arrived. The manager was rude and unprofessional during the discussion. He raised his voice at my friend, then lowered it when other guests walked by. He kept saying he had nothing to say because we'd checked out, so there was no way to resolve it. Our flight wasn't until the evening, but we had to take our luggage with us because we didn't feel comfortable leaving it there. Comments about us being “two women” also made us uncomfortable.

The staff were wonderful and went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. There's a bus stop right outside that goes to the city center. My room was spacious, with a very large bathroom, and the soft bedding and comfy pillows made for a good night's sleep. The soundproofing was good too. One of the best hotels I've stayed in.
