The river views were a highlight, with boats passing by and the site staying peaceful. It’s a lovely little place, with very clean, well-kept facilities and pitches beside the water. Jumieges is an easy 15-minute bike ride away, and it’s just over an hour from Dieppe. We were last here about five years ago and plan to return on our next tour. Thank you!

We chose a grass pitch without electricity for our one-night stay, though there are serviced pitches in a range of sizes. The site is flat and quiet, right beside the River Seine. Modern facilities are good quality, and the owners are very friendly.

We liked it enough to stay an extra night. The owner was very helpful, and the campsite has a genuine feel, close to the little village of Jumieges and its abbey, which is worth visiting. It's a quiet, cozy, well-kept spot right by the Seine.

We hired bicycles from the campsite and had a great starting point for exploring the area. It’s also a relaxing place to sit and watch the big boats go by on the Seine. The campsite has good facilities and helpful people running it. Reception usually isn’t staffed, but there’s a phone number to call and the manager comes over straight away.

The local town was lovely, and we happened to be there during its vintage day. The site itself was clean and tidy, and the owners seem to be putting money into it. The shower block has been refurbished with good fittings, and there was always hot water. The toilets are more like outdoor cubicles, with a gate bolt on the inside, and since there’s no sign to show they’re occupied, people tried the doors. A bit rustic, but not a major problem. Our two-night weekend stop got off to a rough start. Other young people staying there partied loudly until 2 a.m. Reception was closed when we arrived, with a note saying to choose a pitch and sort things out the next day. It stayed closed all day, though we’d paid in advance, so that wasn’t an issue for us. There’s a lot of potential here, but the real place didn’t match the picture on the website. Several permanent or semi-permanent caravans and mobile homes have been extended by their owners, with very mixed results aesthetically. One resident kept watching us while we put up our tent, which made us uncomfortable and left us feeling we’d picked the wrong site. The mix of permanent residents and that experience would put me off returning or recommending it, especially to families with young children. Such a shame. At least the weather was great.
