La Résidence Santa Maria

The parking lot view and train noise took a little away from the charm of the Tramontane suite. It was a beautiful, clean, spacious place, and we had a jacuzzi. I wish there’d been a small kitchen kit with salt, pepper, and oil, plus some instructions for the jacuzzi.

That honey at breakfast was incredibly fresh, the best I’ve ever had. The breakfast was excellent, and our suite and the residence were fantastic. Staff were professional and highly qualified, the pool was great, and the private beach with its loungers was superb. The hotel dog is adorable, too. Well done, we’ll be back.

Our studio faced the garden, was brand new and very practical, and the bedding was really comfortable. It was completely quiet. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the residence. I booked it by chance, and the location turned out to be fantastic, close to both the town centre and the beach.

We used the hotel parking and pool at no extra charge, and there’s underground parking for motorcycles. Reception is staffed mornings and afternoons, with the neighboring reception available if you need help. The narrow-gauge railway is only 200 meters away for a short trip. The restaurant and breakfast room have breathtaking sea and lighthouse views, and cafes, restaurants, and little shops are close by. Our apartment had a lovely balcony and a small kitchenette, handy for breakfast or a snack. It was cozy, with an extra-wide comfortable bed and a compact, functional bathroom. Daily cleaning is included, like at a hotel, and air conditioning, a kettle, and a Nespresso machine are standard. Some apartments have direct sea views, and there are three suites with large terraces if you want more space. We were a couple staying a few days at Residence Santa Maria and felt almost at home. It’s a modern Best Western residence in a great spot between the lighthouse, marina, and town centre, all an easy walk away, while a charming side street keeps things peaceful. Highly recommend it, including for dog owners, though dogs cost €25 per day.
