We ate at the hotel's restaurant on both nights because the food was so good, and it was busy each time with plenty of diners who weren't hotel guests. The dishes were full of flavor and beautifully presented. The old hotel is lovely and well placed for walks to the waterfront and into town. There's secure off-road parking for a fee. No lift, so carrying suitcases upstairs can be awkward, but the staff were very helpful. We'd definitely recommend it.

The hotel's location was a strong point, under five minutes on foot from the main street and beach, and the staff were friendly. Our room was clean, the beds comfortable, and breakfast was good. The hotel welcomes dogs, which was helpful for us. Still, I probably wouldn't return. The room felt overpriced, perched at the top of the building under the rafters, up four flights of stairs. That was tough with two children and two dogs. There's no lift and nobody offered to help with luggage. Dinner at the hotel was nice, but also felt overpriced. Parking is limited and costs €20 a day, so looking for a free roadside space may be better.

Service was good, though the restaurant itself is quite small, with maybe a dozen tables. We had lunch and chose the pre-fixe menu. The food was good, but for over $300, it didn't feel worth the price. The mussels appetizer, steak with potatoes, and cheese plate stood out. The cooking has a modern, artsy style.

I loved how charming the hotel was, from its exterior to our cozy rooms. The dinner was amazing, and breakfast was high quality. It was also very welcoming to children. I don't want to return to La Baule, but I do want to come back to Saint-Christophe.

The location near the beach was a plus, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and well cared for, with everything very clean and vintage furniture adding special touches to the room. Parking can be difficult.
