The cottage has lovely rooms, furnishings, and appliances, and felt well worth the price. It’s tucked into nature while still being close to tourist hubs. Mathieu was great to communicate with from the start and made sure we had what we needed. We had an incredible stay and would happily return.

The countryside setting is beautiful, and Mont Saint Michel is very close. La Vieille Dame gite is a lovely place to get away from the stress and chaos of the city, with impeccable service. I can’t wait to go back!

The price may be cheap, but don’t be fooled. The place was dirty and nothing like we expected. I didn’t feel the jacuzzi was safe, with electrical cables all around. There were only two regular twin beds, and the rest were sofa beds.

Those baby cows in the pasture outside were adorable! 🐮💕 I had a great time here and can’t wait to come back.
