Hotel La Monnaie Art & Spa

The staff were incredible, and the room was very clean. Breakfast was nicely presented and worth the price. The car park was excellent, and the lift meant no stairs for me at 75. One small thing, a sign on the coffee machine would help explain the hot milk.

Just a few minutes on foot from the town centre, this is a lovely, stylish hotel. It was clean and comfortable, and the receptionist was friendly, helpful and knew the area and local events well. I'd happily stay here again.

The hotel was full, yet it stayed peaceful during our two-night visit as a family of four. It's centrally located and quiet, with modern, comfortable rooms. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful, and breakfast had lots of choice and was excellent. I'd definitely stay here again when I'm back in La Rochelle.

I've never had a welcome like this. We arrived an hour late, and the concierge was waiting for us in the rain by the parking area, still smiling. He spoke excellent English as well as French, helped us park and carried our bags. Our room was spotless, and the coffee machine was fantastic. Breakfast was exceptional, with freshly squeezed orange juice and a smile to greet us each morning. The hotel had a lovely atmosphere, but the staff were what made the stay so special. We'll definitely return. It was an absolute pleasure, thank you.
