La Maison du Poëlon

There were thoughtful artistic touches throughout the building, which made it an interesting place to look around. Our room was clean, with an excellent shower and high quality details, including the artwork and waste baskets. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We ordered dinner and ate with the family, including their teenage daughter, and had some interesting conversations. My wife and I were very happy with our stay.

The evening with the host family was the special part of our stay. Dinner and drinks were delicious, and the conversation was an absolute treat. That personal connection is what many travelers look for and often don’t find. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable too. We highly recommend staying here.

Dinner with the family was homemade and lovely, and I ate with them throughout my stay. They were very welcoming and helpful. The house and rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. My experience at La Maison du Poêlon was very good, and the house and service deserve five stars.

We stayed at the Maison du Poëlon for a week as chaperones for a student exchange, while the students stayed with French families, and it was perfect. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and both speak English. Our clean, comfortable rooms were beautifully decorated. Breakfast had lots of variety, including breads, cheeses, homemade jams and yogurts, fruit, eggs, and pancakes. Everything was delicious. There’s plenty of free parking right next door, and Toulouse and the surrounding area have so many great things to see. I’d definitely recommend using the Maison du Poëlon as a base for exploring the region.
