Logis Les Terrasses de Corton

The rooms are all alike, small and windowless. Daylight only comes through the entrance door, so once it's closed, none gets in. Behind each room is a tiny bathroom with no window or ventilation. They're set along a concrete walkway level with the parking lot. The whole place feels decrepit. The parking area, reached from the main entrance by a steep slope, is gravel and weeds. A concrete staircase leads to the so-called restaurant, with Formica tables, plastic chairs, and neon lights like a very poor cafeteria. We couldn't stay at this motel and tried to cancel, but the only employee wouldn't help, so we cancelled through the website. Even so, the full amount was charged to the card. The website had described a charming old hotel with spacious, varied rooms and a good restaurant, which was far from what we found. It's hard to understand how Logis de France accepts such a place. They must have seen only the false website and never visited.
