The indoor pool saved the day since the weather was poor and pretty windy. We had called that morning and there was only one room left, so we had no choice, but it turned out to be very pretty and comfortable. The courtyard feels private on three sides, with a lovely hillside view on the open side, especially nice from the jacuzzi. The place is very relaxing, and the woman who runs it with her two daughters gave us a warm welcome. I highly recommend it.

The setting was pleasant and it was peaceful, but after our wedding we rented rooms where some had no hot water and others no air conditioning. The sheets were creased and stained, the pillows were ready to be thrown out, and the greasy breakfast trays were just one more problem. There was so much else I could list. In short, it was dirty, so avoid it.

The homemade breakfast was lovely, with delicious jams, good bread, cakes, and pastries, and having a pool was a real bonus. The rooms were clean and had air conditioning. The welcome felt warm and genuine too. Thanks again for everything, see you soon. Karine and Joël

The room sheets hadn't been ironed, and if you're bringing a dog, ask for its bowl because they don't provide one. Breakfast was a joke, with stale bread, supermarket juice, and very dry cakes. The breakfast room was dirty and smelled of old cigarette smoke. The hostess looked unkempt, to put it mildly. I absolutely don't recommend this place.

We spent the weekend of February 15 and 16, 2025 here, and had a very good stay with a family who know how to welcome tourists. Lauris is a nice outdoor setting at the foot of the Luberon mountains. The heating was fine for that time of year, actually warm enough that we had to switch it off. We shared a friendly meal with other people staying there, and had no complaints about the meal or breakfast. Some reviews are unhappy, but my friend and I had nothing to fault.
