We had a great evening, and even managed with our limited French. There were five of us at the restaurant, and the meals were fantastic. The food and wine choices were excellent, the staff were great, and we’d happily recommend it.

There aren’t many places to eat in Le Hohwald, and this was the only restaurant we tried, but I think we chose well. Our full fish and spaetzle were both delicious. The staff were friendly and patient with our noisy daughter. There are a few outdoor tables, though it was too hot for us to sit outside that day.

The Alsatian Galette and Tarte Flambée we ordered were perfect, and the dessert was great too. Service was friendly, the regional wine was nice, and I’d highly recommend it.

The food was lovely, though the place didn’t have much atmosphere. The staff don’t speak English, so you’ll need a bit of French to manage.

We had a really tasty dinner for four. The village is beautiful as well. Thanks for having us.
