The area around Le Thoronet has lots to do and see, and it’s also a great base for road cycling, with smooth tarmac, lovely scenery and little traffic. We found la Bastide Saint Bernard peaceful and relaxing, with a beautiful, well-kept property and a stunning terrace view. Valérie and her husband were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. We’ll definitely be back :-)

A really relaxing place, with a stunning setting and views. The host was welcoming and helpful, and the rooms were exceptionally comfortable and clean. There’s a big, refreshing pool available, and the homemade breakfast was incredible. If you’re passing through this area, give it a try.

We had a wonderful stay at La Bastide Saint Bernard. The gîte was spotless and carefully maintained, with attention paid to every detail. The pool was a real bonus after a day out exploring. The hostess was especially warm and friendly, and gave us lots of useful ideas for excursions and things to do in the region. We’d definitely recommend La Bastide Saint Bernard if you want somewhere comfortable, cozy and well placed for exploring. Bert and Annelies, Cas and Ada.

The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, and the hosts are genuinely kind. Breakfast was generous and homemade. The house gives guests their own private space, with a lush terrace at its center where you can take time to chat with the hosts and get good tips on places to visit. With the quiet and greenery all around, it made for a lovely romantic stay in a relaxing setting. I highly recommend it, and we’ll be back.

It’s wonderfully secluded and quiet here, just right for relaxing. The sea is about an hour away by car, though there’s a great pool if you’d rather keep away from people. A very nice woman welcomed us and took great care of everything. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable.
