Jean- Francois and this amazing property made for a wonderful stay. The beautifully decorated rooms are reached by a solid white oak staircase, and J-F's lovely little Jack Russell, J-P, " guards" the property. I'm a former Food and Hotel/ Restaurant Inspector, and this is one of the best. Those who follow me know I don't hand out reports like this easily. J-F, thank you both for the stay. You'll need to book early. We're going back!

The rooms are delightful, the breakfast was delicious and generous, and the grounds are a joy to look at, with plans to make them even more splendid. The owner lives in the house and couldn't be more helpful. It's hard to imagine many guest houses better than Villa So Touquet. The place has been extensively modernised and redecorated, while keeping many period details in a sympathetic way.

A beautiful place, but it's not suited to people with limited mobility. The stairs twist quite a bit, and the ground-floor bedroom has no shower. If you're mobile and looking for peace and quiet in lovely surroundings, it could be a good fit.

The house was lovely, clean and had excellent facilities. Breakfast was nice, and the host was very friendly and helpful. We'd definitely return.

It's a decent basic hotel and not bad value, but there are better hotels around. You get what you pay for.
