Breakfast had a great selection, and the room was spacious and comfortable without any fuss. The staff were lovely too. It’s a delightful place for a ski weekend, right by the basket lifts to the main lifts and close to the high street’s restaurants and shops.

My cosy double was small, as expected, but just right for a week on my own. Two people could manage it for a weekend, though I’d choose a larger room for a longer stay. It was very good value for a single room so close to town, with skiing down to the hotel and a lift out to the slopes. The hotel sits at the top of the main town area, and an egg-shaped, coffin-style ski lift is right outside the front door. You can ski back on a red or green run via an access piste that’s groomed daily. The room was warm, clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. It’s a small, welcoming hotel, and I’d return without hesitation.

The room was compact but had everything we needed, so no complaints. Being in the town centre gives you easy access to whatever you need, and the slopes are close by too. I’d recommend it.
