Breakfast was nice, and the hotel itself is pleasant. The room felt a little dated and smelled musty, though, with a few broken things. There’s no ventilation in the bathroom.

The breakfast was a lovely start to the day, with a view over the slopes. There was a good spread of croissants, pain au chocolat, bread, butter, Nutella, fruit, cold cuts, and more. The hotel staff were pleasant and professional, especially the receptionist, who was friendly and helpful. Hotel l’Escale Blanche is right by the slopes, with small restaurants nearby and a mini-market just a few meters away. The ski locker inside the hotel was handy. We stayed on December 19th, 20th, and 21st. A convenient, pleasant base for a ski holiday.

Carole gave us a perfect welcome, and the staff were attentive at breakfast and dinner. The hotel is centrally located in the resort, right at the foot of the slopes, and the big elevator made loading and unloading quick. Our room had one double bed and one single. It wasn't luxurious, but the view over the slopes was superb. We could watch the resort's shows from the balcony, though we missed the drone show because Mother Nature had other plans. There was a kettle ready early in the morning, so whoever woke first could make tea while waiting for everyone else. The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet had sweet and savory choices for everyone. Great value for money. I'd happily recommend this place, and we're sure to return to Les Orres.

The breakfast was generous, and the other meals were plentiful and nicely presented too. Our spacious, comfortable room had a beautiful view, whether of the slopes or the valley, both were magnificent. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, hand sanitizer, and a hairdryer. Everyone on the team was welcoming, friendly, and so attentive. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. Thanks to the whole team!
