B&B HOTEL Montélimar Nord

We were left waiting outside after reception had already been supposed to open for half an hour, and staff told us to come back later in case it opened. They also closed early, leaving paying guests outside. Staff turned up 45 minutes late to work, and there was almost no service. The stress wasn't worth the price. I'd tell people to stay somewhere else, even if they're watching their money.

We arrived late and checked in at the machine by the door. The air conditioning was already running in the room, with condensation dripping onto the floor pretty fast. There was mold on the unit, so I wasn't convinced the room was healthy to stay in. No one was at reception then, and when I reported it the next day, the receptionist didn't seem to care. The hotel is quite old, and B&B Hotels used to be better quality. Since it was peak season, the family room felt expensive for what we got. Not a great stay, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Both rooms had a horrible cigarette smell, and two of the four of us barely slept because of it. The rooms were clean and the price was reasonable, but there were no parking spaces.

They knocked on our door at 8:30 in the morning to clean the room, which isn't great when you're travelling. On top of that, they charged us twice for a service without telling us. Avoid this hotel.
