The kitchen area was a welcome bonus, with utensils, plates, an electric kettle, and a coffee machine. But when we got to the room, it reeked of smoked weed. The smell was so strong that the sheets, blankets, and pillows all smelled too. Since we didn’t know what had happened there before we arrived, we didn’t take the risk and slept in our clothes. We couldn’t find reception at first because it’s at the bar downstairs. The bathroom, cleanliness, smell, and general atmosphere all left a lot to be desired. What can you expect from a place above a dive bar?

It’s handy for a quick visit, right by the train station and above a restaurant. But the streets are noisy, and there’s little to no soundproofing, so a good night’s sleep might be impossible.

Tuesday, January 16, 2018 After a day of train trouble, including a breakdown because someone had been hit by a train, all I wanted was to reach the hotel and rest. There were other problems too. Reception gave me my keys without any issue, but then I encountered awful smells coming from the stairs and into the rooms. The odor was so strong it made my throat hurt. The room was poorly insulated, with cold air coming in everywhere. I strongly advise against staying here, and hope this dump has closed its doors by then.
