Sohosuite

Jack and Sophie were very helpful, and the apartment was well equipped. The rooms were generally clean, and the shared indoor spaces were kept up well. I also found a long black hair in my bed that wasn’t ours, plus clumps of dust under the beds. The main concern was the location. Wazemmes felt very run-down, with boarded-up properties, graffiti, rubbish dumped in the street, homeless people and begging. We saw groups of unemployed men selling smuggled goods and being loud, sometimes late enough to hear from inside the apartment, and saw police arrest some. The women in our group, who are used to city life, didn’t feel safe walking around after dark, even together. Lille is a city, of course, but this was the poorest area we came across. The area around Gambetta station was very different. Also, in apartment 202, the second bedroom with two beds had no outside wall and no fresh-air source. In August and September it was so hot and airless that we could rarely sleep, even with the fan on.

For almost three years, I’ve worked with Sophie on business accommodations, and everything has been impeccable. The places are always clean and well equipped. She’s reliable, welcoming, available, and kind, which makes her a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her.

The apartment was brand new and very well insulated, and the hotel had a full range of services. It’s just steps from the metro. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and we had an incredible stay in Lille. Thanks again, we highly recommend it.

Sophie is so friendly and always welcomes you with a smile. The room was superb and clean, with nothing to complain about, and the metro station is only three minutes away. I’ll definitely stay here again if I come back to Lille!
