The reception staff were brilliant, and their kind, warm welcome was just what we needed after a long day on the road. There’s a secure car park and good food nearby. The air conditioning worked well, the beds were comfortable with some of the best pillows I’ve had in a budget hotel, and the bathroom was a good size with a powerful shower. It has everything I’d want from an affordable hotel on the edge of a city. Next time we travel through France, I’ll make a point of booking her again.

A clean but VERY basic hotel, and very quiet. It’s close to the motorway. Be aware there’s no lift if you have mobility problems.

I appreciate having a bed and somewhere to shower. There wasn’t a hairdryer, though, and cigarette smells lingered in the corridor. I think spending a little more on customer satisfaction would be worthwhile, since customers bring in the money. Good luck.

The beds made us really itchy, so I’m not sure whether there might be a bed bug issue. The carpets were covered in hair, and the whole place felt tired and dirty. It badly needs renovation, even allowing for this being a budget hotel. Then, when I asked the woman in the tiny breakfast area to refill my water bottle before a long drive, she refused very rudely. I’d already packed our two toddlers into the car outside. With so many budget hotels nearby, we’ll choose somewhere else next time.
