B&B HOTEL Lisieux Parc des Expositions

We ended up keeping our clothes in our suitcases because there was hardly anywhere to hang or store them. The room was very basic, and the bed sat unusually low, though it was comfortable. The bathroom was a self-contained wet-room cubicle, toilet included, which made it hard to keep clean and awkward with outdoor shoes or socks. That kind of layout feels dated, and we wouldn't choose Premiere Classe again.

We felt good about leaving our car in the locked overnight parking lot. The staff were lovely and very accommodating, and the family room was cheap, clean, and comfortable. WiFi and TV both worked, and the air conditioning kept the room cool enough. We skipped breakfast because of our travel schedule, but we'd definitely stay again.

The rooms are simple but very clean, just right for a stopover. Staff were efficient, and in the morning you can smell the fresh croissants.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, and breakfast was OK. Still, the room smelled strongly of a dirty toilet, so I left the window open while I went to dinner, hoping it would clear. When I got back, I could smell smoke in the corridor, probably from whoever was in the next room, but I didn't feel like raising it. I was also disappointed that my booking had the wrong date and nobody checked it, and that an earlier offer from a previous booking wasn't honored. In the end I got a twin room instead of a double.
