Manoir de l'évêché et Spa

Breakfast was so yummy that I ate too much. The owner is laid back and a real charm. There's sheltered parking with a 230V outlet for free car charging, though the parking area is quite dirty. The rooms are spacious, with very high ceilings and a little kitchen area with everything you need. They've been renovated with a modern interior, while the hotel as a whole reminds me of a grand hotel from times gone by. I'd come back any time!

The location and view were the best, and the spa was very clean. The staff were friendly and relaxed, and the hotel was excellent value for money. Reception only opened after 15:00, but the staff let us leave our belongings, so we went into town for lunch. Thank you for turning our difficult situation into an opportunity.

It's just a couple of minutes' walk from the bars, restaurants, and shops of Lisieux, and off-street parking was available. We also enjoyed a very good continental breakfast. A beautiful apart-hôtel, with stylish, comfortable rooms and lovely staff.

We were unsure what to expect since this was the cheapest of the hotels we'd booked for our French road trip, but what a lucky find. For about €120, we had an apartment suite, half an hour of private pool use, and breakfast. It's a five-minute drive to Saint Tressa Basilica. Fantastic.
