Comfort Hotel Dijon Sud - 21600 LONGVIC

Benjamin made our night in Dijon unforgettable. We arrived on Bastille Day, tired from traveling and hoping to see the fireworks. He somehow understood what would make the evening special before we’d even explained much. With a smile, he upgraded us to a room at the very top of the hotel, with a panoramic view of the Dijon skyline right where we could watch the celebration. When the sky filled with color, we stood at the window completely spellbound. It felt cinematic and surreal, and the moment will stay with us. Benjamin turned an ordinary check-in into something we’ll remember for a long time. He doesn’t just hand out key cards, he creates experiences. Hotel management, Benjamin is a real asset and a treasure. Give him a raise, and maybe name the top floor after him.

The modern exterior is misleading. Inside, the hotel feels outdated, with brown and beige rooms. The bathroom and beds were okay, but the room itself was below the standard I’d expect from Kyriad.

The rooms were okay, but the interior could use renovation. There’s no kettle in the room. The only one is at reception, with some teabags, so you have to carry a cup of boiling water up to your room in the elevator if you want tea. Breakfast was the worst part. When we arrived at 8am the buffet was practically empty, and speaking to the receptionist didn’t change anything. Look at the photos to see what we got for €30 for two. I’d avoid this place if possible, since there are much better hotels at this price. Definitely don’t pay for breakfast, it feels like a scam.

A really nice stop on our tour. The staff were lovely and easygoing, the room was clean, and the bed and pillows were comfy. The shower was a normal size too.
