Camping L'Arrayade

The pitches are very large, and the facilities are clean and nice. It’s a great location, with a small river nearby where you can swim. We were able to arrive late and extend our stay by a few nights without any trouble. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even lending us bikes to visit Lourdes. Great camping!

We were only staying two nights, but nothing was too much trouble. Eric welcomed us at L'Arrayed and called his mother, who arrived soon after. Since the campsite is a little way from Lourdes, we explained why we had come, and Joanne kindly offered us a lift into town. She took us to a hotel she also owned and introduced us to Philippe, her other half. We had coffee and went sightseeing. Joanne said that if we had any trouble getting back to the campsite, we could return to the hotel and they would sort us out. Heavy rain made a mess of things as we tried to leave in the camper van, but they were very understanding. I highly recommend this site. Ken and Mary Cummings.

Friendly owners and lovely, large pitches with shade and/or sun. We could borrow bikes for free and cool our ice packs twice a day. The owner is a pilot, and they offer flights at a really nice price. They also explain what you can do nearby and answer all your questions.

A peaceful, spacious site, and the host was very accommodating. It’s right beside the voie vert, which is great for cycling and walking. Sorry we broke the paving stone!
