The food was very poor, and most of our pilgrim guests went elsewhere to eat. The staff were rude and unhelpful. This was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in, with accommodation that felt below even a YMCA or Salvation Army. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We booked two nights but left after just one, losing €76. The private parking was around 300 meters away, isolated and not enclosed, and that wasn’t mentioned when we booked. We also found the mattress very hard and the €12 breakfast only average. The bathrooms felt like they were from the 1980s, with no mixer or thermostatic taps. They require payment for everything in advance, apparently because some people leave without paying.

The welcome from the friendly staff was excellent, and the room was decent and clean. The location is convenient for the Sanctuary. Just keep in mind that you’re in Lourdes on a pilgrimage when it comes to the food.
