The rooms were very clean, the facilities were good, and it’s just a 10-minute drive to the Sanctuaire. The WiFi was ultra slow, though, and that’s the only reason I didn’t give it five stars.

After three days in a tent and two rainy days, I was glad to have a solid bed, hot shower water, and somewhere safe and dry. I’m travelling by motorcycle and don’t expect much. It was also a real plus that the place runs automatically and is available 24/7.

Some of the beds weren’t made properly. It’s a typical Première Classe hotel for the chain, but during our stay the automatic check-in couldn’t encode key cards, so it was out of order even though there was no sign saying so. The reception credit card reader was broken as well.

There was a damp, musty smell in the room. I found human hair and dirt particles at the foot of the bed on the fitted sheet. The flat sheet also looked as if it had been turned inside out, judging by the creases. Those details don’t go unnoticed.

Simple and comfortable, and inexpensive too. A small hotel that works well for a short stay in the city.
