There are a lot of stairs up to the fourth floor and no lift, so keep that in mind. The place works best for 2-3 people, though it can fit 5 if you don't mind feeling cramped. It's well furnished with what you need, apart from laundry facilities. Great location, a nice pizza shop downstairs, and the owner is quite a character.

The location is great, but I wouldn't rate this higher than 3 stars. The owner doesn't say up front that there's a steep, short staircase to the fourth floor, which is unacceptable for guests with physical challenges. Once you're in, he charges for everything. There were only two tiny 1 oz bottles of liquid soap for bathing, and he also expects you to leave €16 for cleaning on top of what you've already paid. These shortcomings should be disclosed.

Laurent was friendly and helpful, and the sofa beds were surprisingly comfortable. The place is cozy, clean, and right in the center, with lots of little touches that made the stay easier. Just be aware there's no elevator. Highly recommend it.
