Everything apart from two issues was fine, and the stay was okay overall. The hotel is in a part of Lyon where we sometimes felt uncomfortable. Men gathered by the tram stop, shouting at strangers and trying to sell us cigarettes whenever we passed. They never actually harmed us, though. My friends' basement room had ants and a cockroach; the other rooms were completely fine. I wanted to mention it so other guests know.

A great option for a romantic getaway. The staff were very attentive, and the rooms felt cozy and had everything we needed. The location is fantastic, just steps from the Opera Garnier.

The hotel itself was okay and matched what we expected from a three-star place. The area was another story: although near the center, it felt unsafe the whole time. We saw people pickpocketing and people following us back to the hotel. It made for a very poor experience.

The room was small but manageable for a one-night stop, and some rooms have a small fridge while others don't. The area isn't the best in Lyon. There was a bad smell, and opening the window only revealed another window across the inner courtyard. I asked to switch rooms, but they refused even though other rooms were available. Parking costs 18 euros per night, and at 11 sharp the next day they made me move the car. They wouldn't give me another half hour even though I asked and several spaces were still free.

The staff were nice and the rooms comfortable, but the neighborhood around the hotel felt very unsafe. We also didn't enjoy the breakfast. I tried calling the hotel for about 30 minutes to get some extra information, but nobody picked up.
