DIFY In Love - Jean Macé

Late Friday night, the check-in service was good and the room was adequate. Two things brought my rating down. I'd told reception I didn't need anything and put out the do not disturb sign, but a man knocked at 3pm Sunday, waking me from a nap after a big day to ask if everything was okay. I pointed out the sign and said I shouldn't be disturbed. Also, street workers started using machinery at 7am. When I asked at checkout, staff said they didn't know what time work began. I wouldn't have booked if I'd known, and this should have been mentioned in advance.

We had a corner room, which gave us plenty of space, and used the lobby to get some online work done. The room was clean, housekeeping did a good job each day, and the staff were friendly. It's a good option for wheelchair users, with grab bars in the bathroom and toilet and enough space to get around. There's also a small lift for guests with large bags.

Talha made my first stay in this part of the city as pleasant as he could. He went well beyond his duties, and I really appreciated it. The hotel's rating comes down to the service its professional staff provide, and he deserves a special thank you.

I was happy to stay here again on a future visit to Lyon. The remodeled room was clean and well looked after, and the staff were friendly and helped me figure out the public transport around the city.
