Honorê - Suite Trois Maries

This apartment is full of humidity and feels unhealthy. I can’t imagine staying here with kids.

The bed was really comfortable, and the apartment on Rue du Dauphin was cute, clean, and extremely well located. I spotted a little dust on some furniture and the mirror, but otherwise the place was very clean. Good value for money, and I’d happily recommend it 😊

We booked for four adults, but the sleeping setup didn’t work: there was one double bed and one sofa bed, with only a wooden half-screen instead of an ensuite room, so all four adults couldn’t sleep. The apartment was extremely humid and smelled musty. When we asked to cancel, they said there would be no refund. The plates and mugs were old, stained, and cracked, and the bathroom was a disaster. The water ran out while we were showering.

We found the location good and the apartment quieter than we expected. Key pickup and return were efficient, and the information sheets explaining the layout were very well done. You need the floor plan to find the cutlery drawer easily. We had three lovely days in Lyon, though there were a few small issues: cobwebs on the ceiling, a bathroom window curtain that didn’t cover the glass properly, and no oil or vinegar for salad dressing. We used a bath towel to cover the window, as shown in the photo. Salt and pepper were there, as were dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee, and other items.
