I don't usually write reviews, but the staff here were so rude and seemed completely uninterested in their jobs that I felt I had to share this. At the restaurant, I politely asked a woman for a fork. She shouted at me and said I'd failed to say “good morning,” though I had greeted her very respectfully. At reception, the man seemed disengaged, lying across the counter and looking at guests in a way that felt judgmental and unwelcoming. This was the rudest hotel staff I've ever encountered. I won't return, and I'll recommend that my company remove the hotel from its Lyon options. There are much better places to stay in the city.

I stayed four nights. The shower was good, but the toilet kept running until I flushed it again. There was no fridge or drawers, and the TV only had French channels, which was a shame for English speakers. The pillows weren't comfortable and the duvet felt a bit too heavy. It was sufficient otherwise.

The metro is about a two-minute walk away, and the old city is just one stop from there. There’s also a small supermarket nearby. The location is okay, and the room is pretty standard for this kind of hotel. The air conditioning feels token, the paper cups are a poor touch, and breakfast is overpriced. All in all, it’s not the worst place to stay.

The twin room was spotless and comfortable, and it was quiet at night. The metro is within walking distance. The staff were lovely, and I’d definitely recommend staying here.
