Citadines Presqu'île Lyon

The location is amazing, close to everything, and the staff were friendly. Rooms were clean and large, and there was complimentary coffee and water around the clock. There were two downsides: no AC in the rooms, and street noise from bars below until about 1-2 AM. We didn't mind too much, since we'd take a lively area over a sketchy, unsafe alley, but it's something to keep in mind before booking.

We stayed at Citadines Presqu’île Lyon for six nights in January and would happily return. The apartment was quiet and comfortable, especially welcome in winter, and the kitchenette was functional and had everything we needed. The location is fantastic, just a couple of blocks from Lyon's main shopping street, with lots of good restaurants and several museums within easy walking distance. Getting around was simple. Service was consistently great, too. The free lobby coffee was a nice surprise on cold days, and being able to borrow an umbrella was a small but useful touch. A well-run place in a great spot, and we'd gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Lyon.

Shops and restaurants are close by, and the rooms have good equipment. It’s easy to walk to Old Town from this central Lyon spot, though arriving by car is tricky. Park first, then go on foot.

Even though the apartment was in the middle of the city, it stayed quiet enough for me to sleep well. Reception staff were polite and gave me useful local suggestions when I asked. The decor is plain and practical, but the price felt like good value for the location. I spent three nights at Citadines Presqu’Ile Lyon and found the room clean, functional, and roomier than a standard hotel room. Having a little kitchenette with a stove, fridge, and basic cookware was handy for a quiet breakfast before heading out. The bed was comfortable, and the heating and air conditioning both worked well after long days of walking. The location made exploring easy: shops, cafés, the riverbanks, and historic parts of Lyon were all within walking distance, so I rarely needed transport. One thing to plan for, though: if you arrive late and want a full dinner, the kitchenette is basic and nearby restaurants may be winding down.
