Good location and a reasonable price. I’d already paid through Booking, but the staff took another payment from me. I only noticed later and had to ask for a refund, which shouldn’t have been necessary.

Everything in the room worked, and it was clean. The room itself was small and oddly shaped, but the air conditioning was very welcome. Having to leave the key at reception was a bit annoying. The location was good.

The room was quiet, clean, and had a comfortable bed and pillows. It’s an old building, but it’s been kept in excellent condition, and the location is perfect. The concierge team were fantastic and available around the clock when we needed help. We stayed one night and had an amazing experience. If I return to Lyon, I’ll definitely stay here again.

The location is what makes this hotel shine, and it was decent for the price. My room matched the description, small but comfortable for one person, with a nice skylight. The bathroom was large, though the shower was so narrow that at 5’10” my shoulders nearly touched both sides and I could barely move. Cleanliness needs work too: there was hair in the shower and bathroom when I arrived, and on the top blankets. The walls and floor needed cleaning.

The city centre is an easy walk from this little hotel, which made it a great base for our visit. The rooms are basic, as others have mentioned, but everyone on staff was very friendly, and they were patient with my broken French. Breakfast is served downstairs in a cozy space, with coffee, a nice range of breads, yoghurt and jams. I’d be happy to stay here again.
