We’d definitely come back. The location and cleanliness mattered most to us, and both were better than we’d hoped. Little touches made the stay feel special, from the lovely bathroom and bed to the scent of the house. Snacks and breakfast things were left in the cupboard, too. And thank you for the Valentine’s Day surprise, I’ll keep one of the roses as a memento.

This is a spacious, luxurious studio, really more like a small apartment than a room. Monsieur Franck runs it, and the care he has for the property shows in all the little details around the flat. The historic building has been beautifully renovated, right in the heart of Lyon. Stay here if you want a central base and to feel looked after by someone wonderful like Monsieur Franck.

A great base for discovering Lyon, especially with kids. It’s right in the city centre, and there’s plenty of everything you need. You’ll hear the sounds of city life, of course, so if noise keeps you awake, the city may not be for you. I can highly recommend the place.

We were told no one would help once it was past 11:45 pm, even though we’d warned them we’d arrive close to midnight. Thankfully, a kind neighbor let us get in. After that, finding the right apartment and the keys was almost impossible, and they’d even put the wrong name on our door. It was a terrible experience. If you need a place where someone will assist you, try staying somewhere else. They really don’t care about their guests.
