Pullman Lyon

Everyone was so nice, and breakfast had plenty of delicious choices. The hotel is well looked after, with good rooms, and I loved the huge showerhead. It’s handy for the train station and near a mall, bars, and restaurants. My only small gripe was that the bed topper was a bit too fluffy for me. I had an amazing stay.

I really appreciated being able to have breakfast early. The people serving it were gentle and helpful, and the reception staff were just as nice. The hotel and its surroundings were very satisfying. Parking was the one problem, and I hadn’t realized it was external parking only. Next time I’ll check the options carefully, or take the train!

Judith made check-in one of the best we’ve had. She was charming and incredibly helpful, and the staff were the highlight of our stay. Breakfast service was excellent, and we enjoyed the range of food. Dinner service was very good too, though the main courses left us underwhelmed. Our room was spotless and very quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The blank area under the TV looked odd and made the room feel a little bare, perhaps because it could fit an extra bed. I also really disliked the waterproof mattress protector. Whatever they call it, it didn’t feel breathable, and I woke up hot and sticky several times.

The breakfast choices and service were fantastic, and there’s a full fitness facility. The location worked perfectly for the train station, and we could walk to the sights. My room was impeccable, with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. I’d recommend this place 10/10. I’ve spent around 80 nights in European hotels and apartment rentals over the last five years, and this was the best one.
