Brit Hôtel Mâcon Nord

After a long drive from the UK, we slept well thanks to a very comfortable bed and quiet surroundings. Heating from the AC unit was adequate. We didn't eat there, though the breakfast looked good. I'd stay again.

I've been driving between London and Valencia for 11 years and almost always stop here on the way there and back. It's convenient, clean, and right by the motorway. The beds are comfortable, the shower is good, and breakfast is more than acceptable. Dogs can stay in the rooms too, for an extra 10 euro.

We stayed for one night on the way back from Spain to the UK. The hotel's location near the motorway is ideal, and our room, shower, and toilet were all clean and comfortable or more than adequate. We thought a ground-floor room would be a good choice because my husband is disabled, but the soundproofing was nonexistent. We could hear the person upstairs walking back and forth and scraping furniture. I woke at 2am to loud talking, noise, doors banging, and people running up the stairs outside our room. The rooms are what you'd expect from a cheap hotel, but the noise really carried.

We stopped here on 27th December on our way to Spain. The bed was clean and fresh, the bathroom was clean and warm, and we all slept well. I could bring my dogs into the room too, so that made me happy. That's what I need for an overnight stop, and I'll use it again since I drive from the UK to Spain 4/5 times a year.
