The location is great for getting to the city center, although the hotel is beside a busy road. With the windows shut, the noise is barely noticeable thanks to the good insulation and air conditioning. The rooms are nice, and the bathroom facilities are modern and clean. Our host was very friendly and spoke English. Parking takes a bit of effort, since the closest secure lot is an 8-minute walk away, but it isn't expensive.

The receptionist was really charming, and the hotel is handy for local restaurants with a river view. My room was clean, and the AC worked very well. Breakfast was good, though at €8 it felt like a lot for some pastries, yogurt, and coffee, tea, or juice. The shower was clean, with good pressure and plenty of hot water. The bathroom towels were quite small, and there was only one size.

My room was basic, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was okay, though very simple. The bedside table looked like a breeze block with a piece of wood on top. I got there a few minutes after 9pm and found the hotel locked with no one around, so I had to check in at another hotel up the street. There was no parking at the hotel, and all the public spaces were taken.

The parking setup is awkward. There's just one space outside the hotel for unloading, then you have to find a lot somewhere nearby. Be careful with the above-ground parking area Lamartine on Friday night: they tow cars for the farmers' market on Saturday morning. Then you have to collect yours 3.7 km away and pay €130 for their 'service' :-((. The hotel itself is cute and sits by the Saône. Rooms are small but clean, and breakfast was good. The road gets noisy on Friday night.

Parking took a little figuring out, but Parking Lamartine worked fine for us. The family room was great, with comfortable beds and a decent shower. I'd definitely stay here again on a family road trip.
