Maison de Ville

The hosts made us feel very welcome, and we liked the townhouse enough to come back for another stay. It’s charming, with lovely rooms that are well soundproofed. I’d definitely recommend it.

The bathrooms were unsanitary, and the family room was uncomfortable. There were stools instead of bedside tables, a dirty wardrobe, and no door on the makeshift bathroom, so we had to leave our belongings on the landing. Safety was a disaster too: we happened to find a smoke detector sitting on a piece of furniture on the first floor, and the electrical outlets seemed questionable. We’d booked three rooms for two nights, but the management was confusing from the start. On arrival, we only briefly saw the owner, who left a small roll, some cereal, a few juice boxes, and yogurts for seven people over two nights. That wasn’t breakfast included, so we had to buy our own coffee and pastries. The common room, with its banquet hall tables, must be used for workshops. A horror!

After a long day of hiking, I could finally unwind in the room they’d prepared for me. Thanks for that, especially after such a busy weekend. I’d highly recommend staying here!

The 2 V's is a little haven of peace ☮️ 😉. They’re full of love and humor, and you’re greeted with a good coffee. You’ll sleep well too, in a quiet place with a good bed 😉.
