The washing machine was a huge help when our luggage was delayed, and there’s free Wi-Fi too. It’s a simple studio, well suited to travelers who don’t need anything fancy. The metro is close, and a grocery store is a few blocks away. Staff were friendly and helpful. People around the neighborhood were friendly as well, from the sandwich shop and local stores to the metro station. I’d happily stay here again.

The worst part for me was that reception and the actual accommodation were at least a 15-minute walk apart. What was advertised as a hotel turned out to be a hostel shared with other young people. I regret booking it and would choose somewhere else in Paris. The room smelled overwhelmingly of musk and damp, stale air. I can’t tell whether the sheets had been washed, but several people in our group found short, curly hairs on the beds. The duvet and pillows came with separate covers that looked ancient and felt terribly scratchy. There was hair and dust on the floor too, so hygiene was poor. I slept in my sweater instead of under the provided covers. We booked at the last minute because there weren’t many options. As another reviewer said, you’d be better off sleeping on the street than paying for a room this disgusting.

The studio setup is misleading because the amenities don’t work. There was no Wi-Fi, and the stove was broken. We walked 12 minutes back to the front desk for help with the connection, then another 12 minutes back to the room, and it still didn’t work. After checking in, you’re also sent off alone with all your luggage for that 12-minute walk. The room is cramped and badly laid out. The loft bed has a low part you’re bound to hit your head on, the cheap wobbly table is easy to stub your toe on, and the furniture makes the place feel even smaller. The neighbors weren’t friendly either. You end up dissatisfied. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and it was the worst accommodation I’ve had in Paris.

They did let me check in early, and the Wi-Fi was good. But the rooms advertised for four adults are tiny, really more suited to two. Hot water was another problem: after the first person showered, the next person still couldn’t get any hot water 45 minutes later. We ended up taking cold showers.

The reception is on Agustin domount street, about 1 km from the hotel, and nobody seemed accountable for anything. The pictures are misleading. The room was an old, damp bathroom with old equipment. I booked three nights, but couldn’t stay, so I found another hotel and returned the key without getting any money back. If someone is thinking of traveling there, I’d say cancel the trip.
