The rooms smelled strongly of cigarettes, and there was a horrible odor throughout our stay. The doors lock automatically, and after getting back into the hotel I couldn't get into my room. A pretty awful experience, though the hotel could be better.

Avoid booking here if you can, especially with the “Reserve now and pay later” option. They charged my card right away, then never answered or acknowledged my messages. When I spoke English on the phone, they hung up. They kept saying they would refund me, but I still never got the money. Do not book!

I did my usual bedbug checks as soon as I arrived and found them straight away. Looking at the recent reviews, it seems they keep refusing to do anything about the large number of bedbugs in this hotel. Over the phone, they said they hadn't had them for a long time, but then what about those recent reviews? Please don't stay here. I regret not checking Google reviews before I booked.

I arrived in Marseille with nowhere to stay. A month earlier, I'd booked through Booking.com and paid in advance, but on arrival day the hotel contacted me on WhatsApp, outside of Booking, to say water problems meant they couldn't host me. They said I'd get my money back, but to this day it still hasn't arrived. Stay away!

The hotel was a good deal, with friendly service, an excellent location, and rooms that looked good for such a low price. I'd seen comments about noise, but my friend and I didn't hear any. If there was some, it was minimal for a city center spot. We felt safe there as two women in our twenties. The toilet cleanliness was maybe 6 out of 10 because of dust. We'd definitely come back if we're in town again.
